Information
Fall 2008.
Flagstaff Micro Soccer’s Fall 2008 season runs from September 7th –
October 26th. No games on September 28th due to Soccer at the
Summit.
At this time the probable
location will be Foxglenn Park. This is subject to change due to field
renovation plans.
Games will be on Sunday
afternoons beginning September 7th.
Practices begin the week
of September 8th and will be one night a week at 5:00 on either
Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
Games and practices last
for one hour for younger players and for 1½ hours for older players
(players in Mexico, Brazil, and England).
Age Eligibility:
Your child’s birth date must fall between 11/1/95 to 9-1-04 to play this

You can register your child by
mailing in one of the on-line forms along with payment (and copy of birth
certificate for first time players) or by visiting us at one of the walk-in
registrations. Mail-in registration deadline is June 27, 2008. Players whose
forms are received after this time may be placed on a waiting list.
Walk-in registration:

MUST BRING A COPY OF A BIRTH
CERTIFICATE TO THE WALK-IN REGISTRATION. You cannot register without it.
Payment is expected when you register. We accept cash and personal
checks.
Fees:

$55 for all players. Fees
cover AYSA registration, insurance, park usage, socks, a team shirt, and
a medal. They also help pay for the soccer equipment and the cost of
running the program

Soccer Balls will be
available to purchase on First Game Day and all season long.
Notes for Spring Season: 1.) Game and practice location may be moved
to Thorpe Park or elsewhere due to closure of Foxglenn soccer fields for
improvements and/or repairs.
2.) Placement in our older England division
will be at the discretion of our coaches and the team formation
committee. All 9 and 10 year-old players with extensive soccer
experience will be considered for this division. All 11 & 12 yr olds
will automatically be placed in this division.
3) Unless you are
actively participating on the Micro Soccer committee or coaching, we
cannot guarantee that your requests for practice nights will be
granted. Please consider coaching, it’s a lot of fun - we will show you
the basics at the clinic on August 24th from 1-3:30pm. If you are unable
to coach, please consider several other committee volunteer positions:
Database Coordinator, Team Formation Coordinator, or Closing Day
Coordinator. Volunteering in one of these capacities will also allow
you to choose your practice night.
